Bullying is a common problem, which, at sometime in their lives, affects many people. It is an extremely upsetting experience for everyone involved. As with all problems, if brought into the open and discussed, they can be solved. Otherwise the scars can continue for years.
Players are the most important people in sport. Playing for a team and its success is the most fundamental part of the game, but not winning at any cost.
Parents and spectators have great influence on children’s enjoyment and success in football. All children play football because they first and foremost love the game, and it’s fun. Managers and coaches are, therefore, expected to pay particular care the moral aspect of their conduct. They have to be aware that almost all of their everyday decisions and choice of actions, as well as strategic targets, have ethical implications.
It is widely accepted that it is the responsibility of every adult to protect children from abuse. All children have a right to be protected from all forms of abuse and discrimination.
