Garswood 3-0 Rainhill B

Rainhill Utd were the visitors as Seneley & Garswood Juniors looked to claim their 4th consecutive straight league win.

Both teams started brightly, but it was Garswood who opened the scoring in the 7th minute as Cameron Davies chased a through ball from Ryan Eden and rounded the keeper to slot into an empty net. Cameron was then brought down in the box in the 29th minute, and picked himself up to fire his spot kick into the top corner giving the keeper no chance, and sending the home side into the interval 2-0 up.

Cameron Davies then capped another terrific display with a well taken 3rd goal in the 37th minute, after fine work from James Haswell. Garswood & Rainhill Utd both had chances to add to their tally, but excellent work from both keepers ensured the game finished 3-0 to the home side.

Garswood head to their top of the table clash with Orford next week in fine form. Man of the Match – Mattias Lokuta (midfield dynamo).
